A paper on holonomies (vol.3) submitted to arXiv
The paper is on gravity interpreted as a square of gauge theory. I have been thinking about this topic over five years and now finally get a satisfying answer. The paper is available at arXiv:1008.2800.

Atsuko nominated for Young Investigator Awards of HRS
The award competition is organized by the Heart Rhythm Society and is called the Young Investigator Awards (YIA), now in its 30th year. For more information, see this and this (in Japanese).
Congratulations!

A paper on abelian holonomy formalism submitted to arXiv
In this paper we consider an application of abelian holonomy formalism to elementary number theory and propose an interesting physical interpretation of the Riemann hypothesis. The paper is now available at arXiv:1005.4299.

A paper on M(atrix) theory compactification appears in Phys. Rev. D, now available online
The article is available at
http://link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/PhysRevD.81.046006.
I would like to thank the referee for critical comments; without the comments I would never be able to realize my mistakes in the original version of this paper. So I am grateful to the referee very much.
Accordingly I have revised my doctoral dissertation since it contains most of the materials in the paper. A revised dissertation in an abridged style is now available at
arXiv:1002.4937 [hep-th].

Atsuko soon becomes a PhD in medicine!
The other day Atsuko Abe (my wife) passed an oral exam for her PhD in medicine.
Research subject is something like
Circadian Variation of Late Potentials in Idiopathic Ventricular Fibrillation
Associated with J Waves: Insights into Pathophysiology and Risk Stratification
Congratulations! We are proud of you.
I hope you keep helpful to many patients.

Visit to Yasushi Inoue's literary museum
The museum is located in what is called CLEMATIS-no-OKA near Numazu City, about 120km east of Tokyo. Many original manuscripts of the author's are exhibited. It was a valuable experience.

Corrections made in a program of moon-position calculations
In a program of planetary orbit calculations, moon positions are set to those at 0:00 GMT. Now the program is revised, reflecting input time information. (Yes, I know the moon is not a planet; I include moon positions as supplemental data for those who might be interested in astrology or whatever.)
